Public toilets in Lille

This map locates the public toilets recorded across the Métropole Européenne de Lille, telling free facilities apart from paid ones and flagging those that are wheelchair accessible.

Interactive map in Lille — public toilets.

What the map shows

Street facilities sit alongside those in parks, stations and transport hubs. In a polycentric area, provision follows the town centres rather than a single core.

Opening hours are not always recorded: facilities in parks close with them, often at nightfall and earlier in winter.

Accessibility

Toilets flagged as accessible have a turning space and grab rails. The information comes from OpenStreetMap surveys and is not filled in everywhere: an absence is not a “no”.

Where the data comes from

The locations come from OpenStreetMap, resynchronised automatically. A facility closed for works may stay on the map for a while.

Frequently asked questions

Are public toilets free in Lille?
Most of the street facilities recorded are free. Some venues, particularly in stations, still charge: the record says so where the information exists.
How do I find the nearest toilets while cycling?
Zoom in on your position: the map shows the facilities recorded around you. Stations, parks and town centres are the best provided for.
A facility is missing from the map — how do I report it?
The data comes from OpenStreetMap: add it on openstreetmap.org and it will be picked up at the next sync.
Are these toilets visible while planning a route?
Not in Lille: Sécu’Cycle navigation does not yet cover the Métropole Européenne de Lille. The map stands on its own.
