What the map shows
Paris is one of the few cities where street toilets are free: the automatic sanisettes, spread across every arrondissement, have been free of charge since 2006.
Opening hours are not always recorded in the data: many facilities in squares and parks close with them, often at nightfall.
Accessibility
Toilets flagged as accessible have a turning space and grab rails. Parisian sanisettes are designed for wheelchair access, but the field is not always filled in for other facilities.
Where the data comes from
The locations come from OpenStreetMap, resynchronised automatically. A facility closed for works or permanently removed may linger for a while.
